Conference Sponsors

The annual Eubank Conference on Real World Markets is possible due to the generous support of our sponsors. The annual conference is a central activity of the faculty, students, staff, and affiliates of the Center for Computational Finance and Economic Systems (CoFES). In addition to the base support provided by the endowment to CoFES established by Nancy Moore and Thomas J. Eubank, the conference is generously supported by Prota Financial, and the Rice University’s Department of Statistics and Department of Sports Management.

Prota Financial, a regular sponsor of Eubank Conference on Real World Markets, was founded in 2016 by Mark Radulovich. The registered investment advising firm offers investment advice regarding securities, insurance, and other financial services to clients.

There is growing demand for highly skilled statisticians in the 21st Century, and the Department of Statistics at the university’s George R. Brown School of Engineering is producing the professionals who can take on challenges in medicine, finance, energy, and the environment. Rice faculty and students have made contributions to statistical theory and methods including modeling of contagious diseases, the genetics of cancer, neuroimaging, machine learning, applied probability, and many other areas.

The Department of Sport Management, at Rice’s School of Social Sciences, explores business concepts as related to the sport industry. Sport management is an interdisciplinary field of study that focuses on the business attributes of sports such as: management, analytics, law, marketing, finance, and communication. A sport management degree prepares students for careers with amateur, collegiate and professional sports organizations.
